BULA to Host First-Ever World Beach Ultimate Championships for Club Teams

May 24, 2023 – BULA is proud to announce the first-ever World Beach Ultimate Club Championships, to take place from October 14-19, 2024, in Portimão, Portugal.

WBUCC2024 will bring together the top-ranked Beach Ultimate Club Teams from around the globe to compete for the prestigious title of World Beach Ultimate Club Champion. The competition will be held in Portugal, where BULA also organized the first World Championships for Beach Ultimate for national teams, back in 2004.

Next year’s groundbreaking event will be held in Portimão and will feature 150+ teams in three divisions:

• Mixed
• Open
• Women

National Beach Ultimate Club Champions from across the globe will have the opportunity to showcase their talents and vie for the top spot in their respective division. The competition promises to be a thrilling display of skill, athleticism, sportsmanship, and Spirit of the Game.

BULA, an organization dedicated to the promotion and development of Beach Ultimate, has been instrumental in developing the sport over the years. This latest initiative further demonstrates their commitment to fostering international competition and camaraderie within the Beach Ultimate community.

After the success of the World and Continental Championships for Beach Ultimate for national teams in 2004, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2015, 2017, and 2019, and the European Club Championships in 2018 and 2022, as well as the upcoming EBUCC2023 in Royan France, BULA is confident that this event will serve as another milestone in the sport’s history.

BULA is working closely with local authorities and partners in Portugal to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for all participants and spectators. As the excitement builds, teams and fans from around the world can expect a well-organized, professionally run event that highlights the best of Beach Ultimate.
